Benzoin Essential Oil for Aromatherapy 10ml

Benzoin Used for Stress, Sleeplessness, Eczema, Coughs, Depression & Exhaustion. This oil is particularly good if you are very stressed out & can't switch off. Use it at times when you feel edgy and irritable. The smell of Benzoin is a soft subtle vanilla aroma.

 For sleeplessness when you lie there thinking about everything you have to do, work, family etc simply put 2 drops of oil onto a tissue and pop it under your pillow. If you are feeling depressed or exhausted then you can either bath in 3 - 4 drops or mix 2 drops in a tablespoon of carrier oil. If you are feeling sad and lonely this oil can bring comfort. 

Benzoin particularly suits Eczema as the oil soothes irritation and is very good for when the skin is cracked. It is an ingredient of my Skin repair cream which relieves the itch and promotes healthy skin growth. I find Benzoin is a very healing oil for any skin conditions where skin is chapped, sore and inflamed. It can be added to pain creams or even Vaseline to prevent windchap and aid and heal sore lips etc. If you suffer from chesty coughs where you need help to expel mucous, benzoin is very effective. It can ease the symptoms of asthma, particularly the wheezy cough. 

This oil also helps with winter ailments, flu, laryngitis and bronchitis. You can use it in an oil burner or add a few drops to a bath. It has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties that can soothe sore throats and help treat respiratory infections. If you have problems with circulation, muscles and joints then this oil can provide relief. It is particularly good for arthritis, gout, rheumatism & circulation. 

I would use this in a massage blend and apply it every evening or use it in the bath to relieve the pains. This oil is also useful for treating chillblains, use 1 drop in a bowl of warm water and soak. Benzoin essential oil is an oil I would recomend everyone had at home for the lovely aroma & the useful properties.
